Guar Seed Futures Decline on Increased Supply - PTI

Guar seed futures prices fell on Thursday due to ample supply from producing regions. The May contract on NCDEX dropped to Rs 5,599 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Apr 25 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 19 to Rs 5,599 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery plummeted Rs 19 or 0.34 per cent to Rs 5,599 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 55,309 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
