Guar Seed Futures Drop on Increased Supply

Guar seed futures declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to ample supplies from producing regions. Prices fell by Rs 11 to Rs 5,445 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Jul 11 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 11 to Rs 5,445 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery plummeted Rs 11 or 0.20 per cent to Rs 5,445 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 12,705 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
