Guar Seed Futures Drop on Low Demand - PTI

Guar seed prices fell in the futures market due to weak demand and ample supply, according to PTI. Read more about the decline in guar seed prices.
New Delhi, Sep 19 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday dropped Rs 3 to Rs 5,490 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed for October delivery fell Rs 3 or 0.05 per cent to Rs 5,490 per quintal in 2,915 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar seed prices.
