Guar seed futures prices declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to abundant supplies from key growing areas.
New Delhi, Mar 28 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday slipped by Rs 6 to Rs 5,350 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 6 or 0.11 per cent to Rs 5,350 per quintal with an open interest of 39,530 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
