Guar Seed Futures Fall on Ample Supply - PTI
Guar seed futures declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased supply from producing regions. Prices fell by Rs 28 to Rs 5,495 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, May 27 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 28 to Rs 5,495 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery plummeted Rs 28 or 0.51 per cent to Rs 5,495 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 48,215 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
