New Delhi, Apr 7 (PTI) Payments company Juspay on Monday said it has raised USD 60 million (about Rs 514 crore) in a Series D funding round led by Kedaara Capital, with participation from existing investors Softbank and Accel.
The Bengaluru-headquartered firm intends to enhance its AI capabilities, focusing on developing future-oriented innovations that will boost workforce productivity and improve merchant experience.
"Today, as we expand our global footprint and push the boundaries of AI, we remain committed to building truly open source and interoperable payment systems that embrace the growing diversity in the payments landscape," said Sheetal Lalwani, Co-founder & COO of Juspay.

CalligoTech raises USD 1.1 million
* Semiconductor startup CalligoTech on Monday said it has secured USD 1.1 million (about Rs 9.4 crore) in a pre-series A funding round led by Seafund and Artha Venture Fund.
The Bengaluru-based startup develops products and solutions for high-performance computing, AI, and big data computing workloads.
"The funds raised will be used for R&D expenses for developing the ver2.0 Silicon chip and platform. In addition to the previous breakthrough with the POSIT-based ver1.0 silicon semiconductor chip, the company is also planning to further increase its engineering talent and tech capabilities to build ver2.0 Semiconductor products and establish partnerships with System-Integrators and OEMs/ODMs," a company statement said.

Easebuzz raises USD 30 million
* Payment platform Easebuzz has raised USD 30 million (about Rs 257 crore) in Series A funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners.
The funding round also saw participation from existing investors 8i Ventures and Varanium Capital.
"The current funding will help Easebuzz to expand its Vertical SaaS stack, enhance product capabilities in online payment aggregation and strengthen its merchant network and market penetration. Easebuzz is also entering the offline payments space with point-of-sale (POS) and UPI QR-based Soundbox solutions," a company statement said on Monday.
