Royal Enfield Sales Dip 8% in May 2024

Royal Enfield's total sales declined by 8% in May 2024, with domestic sales dropping 10%. However, exports saw a 12% increase.
New Delhi, Jun 1 (PTI) Motorcycle maker Royal Enfield on Saturday reported an 8 per cent decline in total sales at 71,010 units in May as against 77,461 units sold in the same month a year ago.
Dometic sales were at 63,531 units last month as against 70,795 units in the year-ago period, down 10 per cent, Royal Enfield said in a statement.
Exports, however, rose by 12 per cent to 7,479 units last month as compared to 6,666 units in May 2023, it added.
