Silver prices fell on Wednesday, declining by Rs 497 to Rs 71,596 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Global silver also traded lower.
New Delhi, Jan 17 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday fell Rs 497 to Rs 71,596 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery declined by Rs 497 or 0.69 per cent to Rs 71,596 per kg in a business turnover of 25,081 lots.
Globally, silver was trading 1.03 per cent lower at USD 22.86 per ounce in New York.
