Silver prices fell sharply on Tuesday, dropping Rs 994 to Rs 94,273 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Global silver prices also declined.
New Delhi, May 21 (PTI) Silver price on Tuesday fell Rs 994 to Rs 94,273 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery declined Rs 994 or 1.04 per cent to Rs 94,273 per kg in a business turnover of 29,622 lots.
Globally, silver was trading 1.44 per cent lower at USD 31.96 per ounce in New York.
