Silver Futures Rise on Fresh Demand - PTI

Silver prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Tuesday, driven by increased bets from participants. Global silver prices were lower in New York.

New Delhi, Jan 28 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday marginally rose to Rs 90,230 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery marginally increased Rs 7 or 0.01 per cent to Rs 90,230 per kg in a business turnover of 22,877 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.70 per cent lower at USD 30 per ounce in New York.
