Silver Futures Surge 2.6% on Spot Demand

Silver prices climbed 2.63% on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by increased spot demand. Global silver prices also rose in New York.
New Delhi, Oct 21 (PTI) Silver prices on Monday jumped 2.63 per cent to Rs 97,910 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery hiked by Rs 2,508 or 2.63 per cent to Rs 97,910 per kg in a business turnover of 27,226 lots.
Globally, silver was trading 3.03 per cent higher at USD 34.24 per ounce in New York.
