Silver Futures Surge on Spot Demand - PTI

Silver prices surged on Tuesday, driven by increased spot demand, with the December contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange hitting Rs 98,300 per kg. Global silver prices also saw a rise.
New Delhi, Oct 22 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday jumped Rs 852 to Rs 98,300 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery hiked by Rs 852 or 0.87 per cent to Rs 98,300 per kg in a business turnover of 26,583 lots.
Globally, silver was trading 1.10 per cent higher at USD 34.15 per ounce in New York.
