Silver Futures Surge: Price Rises to Rs 1,00,331/kg - PTI
Silver prices climbed on Thursday, reaching Rs 1,00,331 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Rising bets and fresh positions drove the increase.
New Delhi, Mar 20 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday increased by Rs 407 to Rs 1,00,331 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery rose Rs 407 or 0.41 per cent to Rs 1,00,331 per kg in a business turnover of 22,150 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.31 per cent higher at USD 34.31 per ounce in New York.
