Silver Futures Surge: Prices Up Rs 539/kg - PTI
Silver prices jumped Rs 539 to Rs 99,692 per kg on Wednesday, driven by increased bets from participants. The rise was supported by fresh positions in the market, with global silver trading higher in New York.
New Delhi, Mar 26 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday jumped Rs 539 to Rs 99,692 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery rose Rs 539 or 0.54 per cent to Rs 99,692 per kg in a business turnover of 19,357 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.21 per cent higher at USD 34.26 per ounce in New York.
