New Delhi, Mar 25 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday jumped Rs 598 to Rs 98,091 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery rose Rs 598 or 0.61 per cent to Rs 98,091 per kg in a business turnover of 18,621 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.56 per cent higher at USD 33.20 per ounce in New York.
