Zinc futures fell 0.28% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to reduced demand from consuming industries, as per PTI.
New Delhi, Jul 26 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.28 per cent to Rs 251.65 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for August delivery traded 70 paise or 0.28 per cent lower at Rs 251.65 per kg in 1,915 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
