Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Zinc prices fell 0.6% on Wednesday to Rs 291 per kg in futures trade due to weak demand and reduced speculation, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
New Delhi, Dec 11 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 0.6 per cent to Rs 291 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded Rs 1.75 or 0.6 per cent lower at Rs 291 per kg in 3,482 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
