Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI
Zinc futures prices fell 0.27% on Wednesday due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Mar 12 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 0.27 per cent to Rs 276.20 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded by 75 paise or 0.27 per cent lower at Rs 276.20 per kg in 273 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
