Zinc prices fell 0.05% on Thursday, driven by weak demand from consuming industries and reduced speculative positions, according to the PTI.
New Delhi, Mar 13 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell 0.05 per cent to Rs 278.05 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded by 15 paise or 0.05 per cent lower at Rs 278.05 per kg in 456 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
