Zinc prices fell 0.11% on the Multi Commodity Exchange as speculators reduced exposure, driven by muted demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jun 7 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday marginally fell 0.11 per cent to Rs 261.50 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery traded marginally lower 30 paise or 0.11 per cent at Rs 261.50 per kg in 3,225 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
