Zinc prices fell 0.46% on Wednesday due to reduced speculative interest and weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Jul 10 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 0.46 per cent to Rs 270.45 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded Rs 1.25 or 0.46 per cent lower at Rs 270.45 per kg in 2,730 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
