Zinc prices fell 0.93% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to muted demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Jul 12 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.93 per cent to Rs 270.45 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded Rs 2.55 or 0.93 per cent lower at Rs 270.45 per kg in 2,412 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
