Zinc prices fell 0.75% on Thursday due to reduced demand from consuming industries and speculator activity, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Dec 21 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell by 0.75 per cent to Rs 225.65 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January delivery traded lower by Rs 1.70 or 0.75 per cent at Rs 225.65 per kg in 3,087 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
