Zinc prices declined by 0.46% on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by reduced speculator exposure and weak demand in the spot market.
New Delhi, Apr 30 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday fell 0.46 per cent to Rs 259.45 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded lower Rs 1.20 or 0.46 per cent at Rs 259.45 per kg in 4,272 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
