Zinc prices declined on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to reduced demand from consuming industries, according to PTI. Speculators reduced their exposure, impacting futures trade.
New Delhi, Mar 26 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 0.16 per cent to Rs 277.65 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded lower by 45 paise or 0.16 per cent at Rs 277.65 per kg in 2,096 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
