Zinc prices dropped 1.47% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Oct 25 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday fell 1.47 per cent to Rs 286.55 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded Rs 4.30 or 1.47 per cent lower at Rs 286.55 per kg in 2,459 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
