Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand in India

New Delhi, Aug 14 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 3.20 to Rs 259.10 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for August delivery traded higher Rs 3.20 or 1.25 per cent at Rs 259.10 per kg with a business turnover of 1,902 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
