Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday due to increased demand from consuming industries. Learn more about the zinc market.
New Delhi, May 27 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose Rs 1.30 to Rs 272.80 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery traded higher Rs 1.30 or 0.48 per cent at Rs 272.80 per kg with a business turnover of 3,131 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
