Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to a rise in demand from consuming industries. Read more about zinc futures and the impact on the market.
New Delhi, Jul 24 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 1.15 to Rs 255.65 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for August delivery traded higher Rs 1.15 or 0.45 per cent at Rs 255.65 per kg with a business turnover of 1,424 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
