Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices surged 0.87% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries. Read more about the zinc futures market.
New Delhi, Oct 22 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose 0.87 per cent to Rs 285.55 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded Rs 2.45 or 0.87 per cent higher at Rs 285.55 per kg in 1,177 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
