Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Dec 20 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose marginally by Rs 1.55 to Rs 280 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January delivery traded higher by Rs 1.55 or 0.56 per cent at Rs 280 per kg with a business turnover of 1,448 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
