Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Jan 11 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose 75 paise to Rs 223.60 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January delivery traded higher by 75 paise or 0.34 per cent at Rs 223.60 per kg with a business turnover of 2,479 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
