Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Thursday, driven by increased demand from consuming industries. Learn more about the rise in zinc futures.
New Delhi, Feb 29 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.05 to Rs 214.60 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery traded higher Rs 1.05 or 0.49 per cent at Rs 214.60 per kg with a business turnover of 4,681 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
