Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Tuesday, driven by increased demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Apr 2 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose Rs 1.70 to Rs 219.40 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded higher Rs 1.70 or 0.78 per cent at Rs 219.40 per kg with a business turnover of 3,256 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
