Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

New Delhi, May 2 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 2.70 to Rs 256.45 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded higher Rs 2.70 or 1.06 per cent at Rs 256.45 per kg with a business turnover of 3,511 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
