Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries. Read more on the latest zinc futures trends.
New Delhi, May 16 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose 35 paise to Rs 262.30 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded higher 35 paise or 0.13 per cent at Rs 262.30 per kg with a business turnover of 2,916 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
