Zinc Futures Rise on Strong Demand | PTI

Zinc prices in India rose on Tuesday due to increased demand from consuming industries. The Multi Commodity Exchange saw a rise of 0.46% in zinc contracts for September delivery.
New Delhi, Sep 17 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose Rs 1.25 to Rs 272.60 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for September delivery traded higher Rs 1.25 or 0.46 per cent at Rs 272.60 per kg with a business turnover of 1,060 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
