Zinc Futures Rise on Strong Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Sep 19 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.40 to Rs 268.50 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for September delivery traded higher Rs 1.40 or 0.52 per cent at Rs 268.50 per kg with a business turnover of 1,060 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
