Zinc Futures Rise on Strong Demand

New Delhi, Apr 5 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose 25 paise to Rs 233.90 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded higher 25 paise or 0.25 per cent at Rs 233.90 per kg with a business turnover of 3,370 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
