New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 4.80 to Rs 259.50 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for October delivery traded higher Rs 4.80 or 1.88 per cent at Rs 259.50 per kg with a business turnover of 696 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
