Zinc Futures Surge on High Demand | PTI

New Delhi, Aug 16 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose Rs 4.60 to Rs 261.75 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for August delivery traded higher Rs 4.60 or 1.79 per cent at Rs 261.75 per kg with a business turnover of 1,889 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
