Zinc Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Zinc prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries. Read more on the latest zinc market trends.
New Delhi, Jul 4 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 2.35 to Rs 275.15 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded higher Rs 2.35 or 0.86 per cent at Rs 275.15 per kg with a business turnover of 3,038 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
