New Delhi, Jul 19 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose 45 paise to Rs 266.45 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded higher 45 paise or 0.17 per cent at Rs 266.45 per kg with a business turnover of 1,937 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
