Zinc Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Zinc prices climbed 1.04% on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by increased demand from consuming industries. Read more about the rise in zinc futures.
New Delhi, Oct 21 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose 1.04 per cent to Rs 287.20 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded Rs 2.95 or 1.04 per cent higher at Rs 287.20 per kg in 1,073 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
