Zinc Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Zinc prices rose 85 paise to Rs 279.30 per kg in the futures market on November 21, driven by increased demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Nov 21 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose 85 paise to Rs 279.30 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded higher by 85 paise or 0.31 per cent at Rs 279.30 per kg with a business turnover of 1,433 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
