Zinc Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose 95 paise to Rs 224 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January delivery traded higher by 95 paise or 0.43 per cent at Rs 224 per kg with a business turnover of 2,511 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
