| This is to inform you that the Bank has received today i.e. 27th February 2021, a request letter dated 26th February 2021 from United India Insurance Company Limited ('UIICL'), one of the Promoters of the Bank, to reclassify UIICL to 'Public' category from 'Promoter' category, in accordance with Regulation 31A of the Listing Regulations.<BR> <BR> Further, please note that the said letter was placed for the consideration of the Board at its meeting held today (the said meeting was convened earlier and was in progress at the time of receipt of the said request letter). The Board at the said meeting has considered and approved the said request received from UIICL to reclassify it to 'Public' category from 'Promoter' category, subject to the approval of the Stock Exchanges, Statutory/Regulatory Authorities and the Shareholders of the Bank. The certified true copy of the resolution passed by the Board is attached herewith.<BR> | |
