| This is in continuation of our intimation dated 20.07.2022 wherein clarification was provided to the Stock Exchanges on news item which appeared in the 'Newspaper-The Economic Times' dated 18.07.2022 captioned 'Indian Oil, NTPC form JV for setting up of renewable energy-based power plant for refineries'. In this regard, we would like to inform that Indian Oil Corporation Limited has incorporated the Joint Venture Company with NTPC Green Energy Limited, (a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited) named IndianOil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited on 02.06.2023. IndianOil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited will develop Renewable Energy based power projects (viz. Solar PV, Wind, any other RE, Energy Storage or any combination of same), to meet the Round the Clock (RTC) power requirements of new projects of IndianOil Refineries. | |
