| We wish to inform that Punj Lloyd Ltd. (In Liquidation) has a branch in Oman wherein a miscreant has forged the Commercial Registration & included his name as owner of branch. The miscreant by using the forged docs has sought permission through Primary Court order & has allegedly sold assets of the branch located at AL Bureimi Oman. Thereafter an appln. was filed by PLL in Appellate Court in Oman for cancellation/stay of/on order of Primary Court in Oman, which has been rejected by the Appellate Court on the ground the case is currently sub judice in Primary Court in Oman & it has not jurisdiction to adjudicate the matter. PLL has filed a plaint with the public prosecutor at Oman alleging forgery and fraud on the part of the miscreant. The Liquidator of the Co. through Oman Counsel is in the process of filing an appeal in Supreme Court of Oman in the matter & also filed complaint with Indian Ambassador, India Embassy, Muscat.
