Aluminium Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Aluminium prices fell on Tuesday due to weak demand in the spot market. Participants trimmed their positions, leading to a decline in futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange.

New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday declined 90 paise to Rs 233.05 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell 90 paise or 0.38 per cent to Rs 233.05 per kg in 1,356 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
